Job Description

The Packing and Delivery Staff is responsible forefficiently and accurately packing purchased textile items for customers andensuring their safe and timely delivery. This role requires attention todetail, physical stamina, good organizational skills, and a customer-orientedapproach, especially during delivery.

Responsibilities:

Packing:

Ensure all items are included as per the sales invoice.
Use appropriate packing materials (bags, boxes, wrapping) efficiently.
Prepare packages for delivery, ensuring they are secure and easy to handle.
Assist with basic inventory tasks such as organizing packing supplies.
Report any discrepancies in packing materials or stock.
Maintain a polite and professional manner when interacting with customers during deliveries.
Address basic delivery-related inquiries.
Report any customer feedback or delivery issues to the supervisor.
Assist with other store tasks as needed, such as organizing stockroom or helping with basic store maintenance.
Follow instructions from the Store Manager or Dispatch In-charge.

Requirements

Education

: Minimum SSLC or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in packing, delivery, or a related role ispreferred but not always required.

Language Skills:

o Mandatory: Good verbal communication skills in Malayalam .Basic understanding of English is desirable.
