Packaging Executive

As a Packaging Executive at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of production processes, meeting safety, quality, and efficiency standards. You will be expected to lead a team, handle project work off shift, and deputize for the shift manager when necessary. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in the execution of routine operations, ensuring compliance with safety and food safety policies and procedures. - Plan production and manpower according to the business plan, ensuring seamless execution. - Monitor product risks and maintain product quality to meet customer specifications. - Uphold company safety and hygiene standards. - Ensure employee and product safety through comprehensive training and adherence to task procedures. - Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives at the department level. - Manage the production budget for the department, process, or shift. - Mentor production workers, participate in the selection process, and handle employee welfare, performance reviews, and engagement. - Identify risks, recommend areas for improvement and innovation. - Address basic issues under direct supervision and escalate complex issues to appropriate staff. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Minimum four years of experience in packaging with an Engineering or Packaging degree. - Effective communication and team development skills. - Computer literate. - Previous experience as a team leader in a production environment or demonstrated ability in a skilled operative position. - Willingness to undertake further qualifications if required.
