Position : Engineer - Packaging Development

Exp : 3+ years.

Location : Hosur / Harohalli

Key Responsibilities :

Packaging Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing/Business Development, Costing, Quality, New Product Development, and Supply Chain) to conceptualize and develop innovative packaging designs, overseeing the process from conceptualization to product validation.
• Conduct research on materials, industry trends, and sustainable packaging innovations.
• Develop and test prototypes to ensure functionality, durability, and adherence to regulatory standards.
• Optimize packaging designs for cost efficiency, sustainability, and production feasibility.
• Perform quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.

Sourcing:

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for packaging materials and components.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve cost-saving objectives.
• Ensure all packaging materials meet toy industry regulations, sustainability standards, and company policies.Stay updated on market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and cost reductions.

Project Management:

• Lead packaging projects from concept to launch, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including packaging specifications, test results, and approvals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure packaging meets product and operational requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve packaging-related challenges throughout development, production, and distribution phases.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Packaging Technology or Engineering.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
