Packaging Development manager

Job Summary:

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Packaging Head to lead the packaging function for our electronic products division. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of packaging solutions for electronic goods, including plastic packaging and bubble wrap, and will be responsible for end-to-end packaging development and operations postsales order. This role also includes vendor development and management for costeffective and high-quality packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead the development and execution of packaging solutions for electronic products, ensuring product protection, aesthetic appeal, and cost efficiency.

 Take complete ownership of packaging activities after receipt of sales orders.

 Design and validate packaging for various product lines including Power, Audio, IoT, and other consumer electronics.

 Ensure compliance with packaging standards and customer-specific requirements.

 Work closely with R&D, Sourcing, Production, and Quality teams to finalize packaging designs and material specifications.

 Develop and manage local vendors for packaging materials, including plastic parts, bubble wraps, cartons, and cushioning materials.

 Optimize packaging for transportation safety, material cost, and operational efficiency.

 Oversee packaging trials, quality checks, and documentation.

 Identify and implement packaging innovations to reduce damage, cost, and environmental impact.

Requirements:

 Degree in Packaging Technology or B.Tech in Electronics.

 Minimum 10 years of experience in packaging development, preferably in the electronics or consumer durables industry.

 In-depth knowledge of plastic packaging, bubble wrap, corrugated boxes, and ESD-safe packaging materials.

 Proven experience in vendor development and negotiation.

 Strong project execution, documentation, and interdepartmental coordination skills.

 Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

 Willingness to work from Vasai location.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
