Job Description

Location: Denver International Airport Rate: $19/hr Schedule: 6-8 hour shifts, part-time + full-time available 7 days a week! The Spirit Of The Position Parking Ambassadors are an integral part of the LAZ Parking team. Positions includes greeting, collecting parking payments and directing traffic with a large team. Staff will interface with customers and need to present a cheery demeanor. Parking Ambassador Principal Job Duties Assist patrons and personnel as needed at Exits or Entrances Perform cashier transactions as needed Provide and ensure first-class customer service. Assist with lane openings and closures Perform equipment and system inspections Assist customer in lane Provide customer service in an upbeat and positive manner. Trouble shoot customers experiencing difficulties with their transactions Secure dropped gate Report operational issues to Supervisor or MOD found in their work area Troubleshoot and resolve minor issues with stations Additional related duties as assigned. Skills & Requirements Strong customer service skills which includes de-escalation and problem solving. - Ability to handle frustrated travelers - Cash handling experience - Ability to be approachable with a friendly attitude - Ability to work independently and multi-task. - Ability to interpret, communicate and understand policies, procedures, and rules. - Ability to be present and ready to work as scheduled - Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness. - Must be able to be adaptable to operation change for customer support - Must be able to clear and maintain airport badging requirements. - Must meet required speaking and listening skills assessment level Physical Demands Willingness to work in the elements – heat, wind, snow, rain, etc. - Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds. - Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. - Ability bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
