Job Title: Catering Manager – Outdoor Catering
Location: Delhi
Experience Required: 5–6 Years in Outdoor Catering Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic *Catering Manager* to oversee and execute outdoor catering operations across Delhi. The ideal candidate will bring *5–6 years of relevant experience, have **excellent communication skills, and possess a strong **network of vendors and suppliers* in the Delhi NCR region. This role requires strong operational leadership, planning expertise, and the ability to ensure seamless service for high-volume and premium outdoor catering events.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, coordinate, and execute all outdoor catering events, from setup to service and teardown.
* Handle client requirements, menu planning, tastings, and execution with a high standard of service.
* Liaise with chefs, service staff, transport, logistics, and equipment vendors for smooth event delivery.
* Maintain and expand a strong vendor and supplier network in Delhi NCR for rentals, logistics, manpower, and raw materials.
* Negotiate contracts with vendors to ensure cost-effective and quality procurement.
* Oversee staffing and on-ground operations at events, ensuring adherence to hygiene, service, and safety protocols.
* Address and resolve any client concerns or service issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Work closely with the sales and operations team to convert leads into successful events.
* Prepare event budgets, control costs, and ensure profitability of catering operations
Requirements:
* Minimum 5–6 years of experience in *outdoor catering* and *event-based F\&B operations*, preferably in Delhi NCR.
* Strong understanding of the catering event lifecycle, including logistics, planning, and service delivery.
* Excellent *communication and client-handling skills*.
* Strong vendor base and sourcing capabilities for equipment, manpower, and raw materials in Delhi.
* Leadership skills to manage on-ground teams and handle high-pressure situations.
* Willingness to travel within Delhi/NCR for event supervision and client meetings.
* Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and long hours during events
Preferred Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in Hotel Management / Catering Technology / Hospitality preferred.
* Prior experience in managing weddings, corporate events, or large-scale outdoor catering is a strong advantage.
* Basic understanding of food safety standards and FSSAI guidelines.
