Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, sterile supplies, and equipment. Assist in positioning the patient and ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Maintain aseptic techniques and ensure a sterile field throughout the procedure. Act as scrub nurse or circulating nurse as required. Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during operations. Handle surgical instruments and count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after surgery. Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any irregularities. Ensure proper documentation of procedures, medications used, and patient responses. Support post-operative recovery and transfer patients to the recovery room. Clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment after use. Follow all infection control and hospital protocols.
