Responsible for documentation and changes thereof. Ensure that the necessary guidelines are complied with and necessary documents are maintained as applicable for all day-to-day processes.Play a key role in the team, being the link between the team and TL and ensure that adequate process knowledge is developed and be the first point of contact for all members. Act as a back for the TL.

Roles and Responsibilities: Reports & Controls:Data maintenance:Creating, updating, and maintaining customer master records in enterprise resource planning (ERP) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.Data validation:Ensuring compliance with established data governance standards when processing new customer data requests.Data cleansing:Performing regular data audits and cleansing activities to correct inconsistencies, remove duplicate records, and standardize data formats.Collaboration:Working with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Finance, and Operations, to gather and verify information for new customer setups and updates.Issue resolution:Handling data-related inquiries and resolving issues raised by internal stakeholders.Data quality:Monitoring and improving the quality of master data by enforcing data governance policies and procedures.Policy enforcement:Defining and enforcing policies for managing customer data assets, including security and access control.Training:Providing guidance and support to business users on how to properly use MDM systems and adhere to data governance policies.Intake & Validation:Review creation/change/block/unblock requests; validate mandatory documentation (PAN/GSTIN, bank proofs, contracts, W-8/W-9 or local equivalents) against checklists.Master Data Maintenance:Create and update Customer (sold-to/ship-to/bill-to, payment terms) and Vendor (bank details, payment terms, tax setup) records in ERP/MDM tools under supervision.Data Quality Checks:Run duplicate checks, naming conventions, address/IBAN/SWIFT validations; escalate exceptions per RACI.Workflow & Approvals:Route requests to approvers, attach evidence, and ensure segregation-of-duties is followed; maintain clear audit trails.Compliance & Controls:Follow SOX/ICFR-aligned controls, data privacy, and retention guidelines; support internal/external audits with artifacts.Reporting Support:Update daily trackers and simple dashboards (volumes, TAT, first-time-right, rejects) and flag risks early.Issue Resolution:Identify common errors, propose fixes, and document learnings/FAQs; hand off complex items to senior analysts.Continuous Improvement:Adhere to standard work instructions; suggest small automation ideas (macros/templates) and participate in UAT for enhancements.
