Oracle Technical Consultant

As an Oracle Technical Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, implement, and support Oracle applications with a focus on technical aspects such as database management, integrations, and customizations to align with business requirements. You will be expected to showcase proficiency in Oracle database technologies including SQL and PL/SQL, along with experience in Oracle applications like Oracle Fusion and Oracle E-Business Suite. Additionally, having knowledge of Oracle Cloud solutions such as PaaS and IaaS, as well as an understanding of data modeling, data administration, and software development principles is essential. Throughout the project lifecycle, you will actively participate in all stages from requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support. Your role will involve developing and customizing Oracle applications to address specific business needs, designing and implementing interfaces, integrations, and workflows, as well as troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. It will also be crucial to conduct testing and quality assurance to ensure the efficiency and reliability of the solutions implemented. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will be required to work closely with functional consultants, business users, and other stakeholders. Providing technical guidance and expertise to clients and internal teams, documenting technical solutions and processes, and staying updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices are vital components of this position. In terms of specific skills, experience with Oracle Forms & Reports, XML / BI Publisher Reporting Tools, Interfaces (outbound / Inbound), and Workflow is necessary. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules such as Finance, SCM, Manufacturing, and tools, along with familiarity with Apex development processes and FRICEW components, is expected. Additionally, having exposure to OIC, ADF, ODI, Informatica, OBIEE, SOA, or Oracle Retail Cloud Infrastructure will be considered an added advantage. Soft skills play a significant role in this position, requiring strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and analytical abilities, and the capability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Effective project management skills to handle multiple projects and priorities concurrently will also be essential for success in this role.,
