Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle SBC Engineer with hands-on experience in Oracle Acme Packet SBC solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and support of Oracle SBC in enterprise or carrier-grade environments.
Key Responsibilities :
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Oracle SBC (Acme Packet) solutions across customer or network environments.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of SBC-related issues.
- Work on SIP signaling, media negotiation, and NAT traversal across networks.
- Integrate SBC with VoIP infrastructure, IP-PBXs, IMS, or cloud platforms.
- Collaborate with voice network teams and stakeholders to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor SBC systems and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Document technical designs, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
- Participate in upgrades, patches, and system migrations as required.
Required Skills & Experience :
- 58 years of relevant experience in Oracle SBC / Acme Packet solutions.
- Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, VoIP, IMS, and telecom protocols.
- Experience with network security, NAT, firewalls, IP routing, and QoS.
- Proficient in SBC configuration, call flow analysis, trace/debug, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with voice services and infrastructure (VoIP gateways, SIP trunks, IP-PBX, Softswitches).
- Exposure to cloud telephony or IMS environments is a plus.
- Ability to write and maintain SBC routing and transformation rules.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
