Oracle Learning Cloud Functional Consultant

This role demands strong functional expertise, client-facing consulting experience, and the ability to translate business needs into scalable Oracle Learning Cloud configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with client business and HR stakeholders to analyze learning requirements, map learning processes, and recommend Oracle Learning Cloud best practices.
  
• Lead end-to-end solution design, configuration, and deployment activities for Oracle Learning Cloud modules.
  
• Configure key learning components including

  Courses, Offerings, Specializations, Learning Journeys, Learning Communities

  , and

  Catalog Management

  .
• Define and manage

  learning assignments

  ,

  approval workflows

  ,

  user roles

  , and

  access control policies

  .
• Collaborate with technical teams for

  integrations (OIC, REST APIs)

  ,

  data migration

  , and

  reporting (OTBI/BIP)

  .
• Conduct

  requirement workshops

  ,

  functional design walkthroughs

  , and

  training sessions

  for client teams.
• Manage and execute

  testing cycles

  (SIT, UAT), ensuring high-quality, defect-free solution delivery.
• Provide

  quarterly Oracle release impact assessments

  , and oversee

  regression testing

  .
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, reusable assets, and solution accelerators to strengthen the consulting practice.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in

  HR, Business Administration, Information Technology

  , or a related discipline.
• Minimum

  10 years of experience

  in Oracle HCM Cloud, with at least

  2 years specializing in Oracle Learning Cloud

  .
• Strong understanding of

  L&D processes

  ,

  learning administration

  , and

  talent management lifecycle

  .
• Hands-on experience with at least

  one full-cycle Oracle Learning Cloud implementation

  .
• Demonstrated ability to work in a

  client-facing consulting environment

  with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of

  Oracle HCM Core HR

  and its relationship to Learning Cloud.
• Strong

  documentation skills

  — including functional design documents (FDs), configuration workbooks, and test scripts.

Preferred Skills:

• Oracle Certification

  in Learning Cloud or HCM Cloud.
• Experience integrating Oracle Learning Cloud with external content providers (e.g.,

  LinkedIn Learning, Skillsoft, Degreed, Coursera

  ).
• Familiarity with

  Oracle Journeys

  ,

  Career Development

  Talent Review

  modules.
• Exposure to

  Oracle HCM Reporting Tools

  (BI Publisher, OTBI Dashboards).
• Ability to work effectively in an
