Job Summary:

Oracle GoldenGate Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage
Oracle GoldenGate
replication across heterogeneous and homogeneous systems.
Monitor and maintain the
health and performance
of GoldenGate replication, addressing latency and data integrity issues.
Develop
custom solutions
for data replication, transformation, and filtering using Oracle GoldenGate.
Configure and troubleshoot
Extract, Pump, Replicat
, and
Trail Files
.
Support
disaster recovery
and
high availability
implementations using GoldenGate.
Collaborate with
DBAs, developers, and infrastructure teams
to integrate GoldenGate into enterprise architecture.
Perform
GoldenGate upgrades, patches, and migrations
as needed.
Automate processes for replication monitoring, failover, and alerting.
Document
technical architecture
, configurations, and best practices.
Provide
on-call support
for critical GoldenGate replication issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience with
conflict resolution
,
data filtering
, and
DDL replication
.
Knowledge of
Linux/Unix environments
and basic scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
Familiarity with
monitoring tools
like Oracle GoldenGate Monitor, OEM, or custom scripts.
Understanding of
network, security, and firewall configurations
relevant to data replication.
Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
