Oracle Fusion Reporting Consultant

We at Fusion Practices are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Reporting Consultant to design, develop, and deliver reporting solutions across Oracle Fusion Applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in OTBI, BI Publisher, and BICC, along with strong functional knowledge of Financials, PPM, and GMS.

This role requires a techno-functional consultant to translate business requirements into scalable, efficient, and user-friendly reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI for real-time analytics.
  
• Build complex BI Publisher (BIP) reports including SQL-based data models, bursting, and multi-layout reporting.
  
• Design and implement BICC extraction strategies for integrations and downstream analytics.
  
• Collaborate with Finance, PPM, and GMS business teams to gather requirements and map them to reporting solutions.
  
• Ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance in reporting deliverables.
  
• Optimize queries, improve performance, and troubleshoot reporting issues.
  
• Stay updated with Oracle Cloud quarterly release changes and update reports as needed.
  
• Provide technical and functional guidance to business stakeholders on reporting best practices.
  
  
  Requirements Required Skills & Experience
  

  • 510 years of experience in Oracle Fusion Reporting & Analytics.
    
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • OTBI dashboards, KPIs, ad hoc reports.
      
    • BI Publisher (BIP) complex SQL queries, bursting, XML/RTF templates.
      
    • BICC scalable data extractions and incremental loads.
      
    • Proficiency in SQL / PL-SQL for data model development.
      
    • Functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM), Project Portfolio Management (PPM), and Grants Management (GMS).
      
    • Familiarity with business processes like Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C).
      
    • Strong understanding of role-based security in Fusion reporting.
      
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
