As a Senior Systems Engineer at Oracle, your focus will be on delivering post-sales support and solutions to Oracle customers while advocating for their needs. You will resolve non-technical customer inquiries and provide technical assistance on the use and troubleshooting of Electronic Support Services. Serving as the primary point of contact, you will build and maintain customer relationships, offer advice to internal Oracle employees, and handle diverse customer situations and escalated issues. You will work closely with the customer's IT staff to resolve technical problems related to Oracle products either on-site or remotely, requiring expertise in Oracle products and supported platforms. **Key Responsibilities:** - Minimum 6-10 years experience as an Oracle database engineer/DBA - Extensive knowledge and troubleshooting experience in all areas of Oracle database technology - Advanced skills in RAC, ASM, Performance tuning, HA, Backup and Recovery - Experience in database upgrades, migrations, installations, and patching - Administration of engineered system products like Exadata and ZDLRA - Understanding of Exadata features like Flash cache, Storage Index, HCC, and IORM - Experience in Engineered system Maximum Availability Architecture - Skills in Golden Gate replication - Day-to-day monitoring of RDBMS and RAC environment - Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer-centric mindset - Excellent interpersonal communication and written skills in English - Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams globally **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience - Experience with Oracle's core products, applications, and tools - Willingness to work in shifts and on weekends - Strong bias for quality and engineering excellence at scale - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle is committed to innovation and inclusivity.
