Level / Band:

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle databases, including tables, views, indexes, and other database objects.
• Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Collaborate with business analysts and development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient database solutions.
• Perform performance tuning and query optimization to ensure scalability and efficiency of database applications.
• Ensure data integrity, reliability, and security through effective implementation of database constraints and access controls.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all database solutions.
  

Good to Have

• Experience with other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Unix Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Oracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development.
• Expertise in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and using tools such as Explain Plan.
• Proficiency in Oracle database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
