Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator

As an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator, you will be responsible for managing resources on the OCI platform, ensuring security controls and compliance, monitoring services for optimal performance, and troubleshooting and resolving issues as they arise. Your role will also involve planning and executing migrations, upgrades, and expansions, developing automation scripts, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and collaborating with other IT teams to integrate OCI services. Key Responsibilities: - Provision, configure, and manage OCI resources such as compute instances, storage, networking, and databases. - Implement and maintain security controls and compliance measures following OCI best practices. - Monitor OCI services and infrastructure components for performance, availability, and reliability. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OCI resources including connectivity and access controls. - Plan and execute OCI migrations, upgrades, and expansions in coordination with stakeholders. - Develop automation scripts to streamline OCI administration tasks and workflows. - Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for OCI resources and data. - Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate OCI services with existing infrastructure and applications. - Stay updated with OCI features, updates, and new releases to recommend improvements as needed. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3-5 years of experience in cloud administration, specifically with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. - Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures. - Experience with networking concepts, VPN, VCN, and security lists. - Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud environments. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Effective communication and collaboration skills. - Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Associate or Professional are a plus. Please Note: The company is located in Pune and the position requires a total IT experience of 5-6 years with at least 3 years of relevant OCI experience. The educational qualifications preferred are a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers, or Electrical for UG and MCA in Any Specialization for PG.,
