Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator

You will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, and managing resources on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform in Pune. This includes compute instances, storage, networking, and databases. Ensuring security controls and compliance measures are in place according to OCI best practices and organizational requirements will be crucial. Monitoring OCI services and infrastructure components to maintain optimal performance, availability, and reliability is part of your role. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to OCI resources, such as connectivity, performance, and access controls, will be your focus. Collaborating with stakeholders and project teams to plan and execute OCI migrations, upgrades, and expansions is essential. Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools to streamline OCI administration tasks and workflows is also a key responsibility. Implementing and managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for OCI resources and data will be part of your tasks. You will work with other IT teams to integrate OCI services with existing infrastructure, applications, and services. Staying up-to-date with OCI features, updates, and new releases to evaluate and recommend improvements is expected. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 3-5 years of experience in cloud administration, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architectures is required. Experience with networking concepts and protocols, including VPN, VCN, and security lists, is necessary. Knowledge of security principles and best practices for cloud environments is vital. You should possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as effective communication and collaboration abilities. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Associate or Professional would be advantageous. Education qualifications include a B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication, Computers, or Electrical at the undergraduate level and an MCA in any specialization at the postgraduate level.,
