Optometrist

As an Optometrist at a leading retail optical brand in Mumbai, your role will involve performing accurate eye testing and vision checks for walk-in and appointment-based customers. You will prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and advise on lens options and frames. Additionally, you will educate customers on eye care, lens usage, and product options. Supporting the sales team by providing technical assistance during product selection and ensuring clinical quality standards and hygiene protocols are maintained are also part of your responsibilities. You will handle pre- and post-sales queries related to prescriptions and eye health, as well as maintain customer records accurately and update the system as required. Qualifications and skills required for this role include a Bachelors or Diploma in Optometry from a recognized institution, with a minimum of 1 year of experience as an Optometrist, preferably in a retail/optical chain. You should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-centric attitude with a sales-oriented mindset, and basic knowledge of optical retail systems and eye testing equipment.
