Optical Engineer

As an Optical Engineering Technical Support Specialist at Lanika Solutions in Bangalore, you will serve as an authority on the company's technical software usage, providing optical engineering technical support to internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include: - Fielding technical questions and providing advice on ASAP software products to current and potential customers. - Mastering comprehensive technical software ASAP and understanding competitive analysis related to BROs software. - Contributing to Application Notes, software demos, and other literature for customers and sales leads. - Representing Lanika Solutions at technical trade shows, answering questions, and providing information on software products. - Developing and customizing technical documentation for ASAP software products. - Assisting in teaching ASAP tutorials and providing technical support on potential software sales. - Potentially publishing and presenting articles for optical engineering conferences and journals. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Optical Science, Physics, or a related engineering discipline, along with 2+ years of experience or equivalent training. Additionally, you should possess: - Strong communication skills to interact with various stakeholders effectively. - Proficiency in advanced mathematical concepts and operations. - Strong reasoning abilities to solve complex problems and make sound business decisions. - Experience working with CAD software and practicing safe lifting techniques.
