Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Design, deploy, verify, and maintain optical networks using Ciena equipment such as 6500, 3800, and 6200 platforms.
Perform capacity upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, retrofitting, calibration, and verification of DWDM systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data center deployments and PoPs (Points of Presence) installations.
Ensure seamless integration of new technologies into existing infrastructure through successful BERT testing and optimization processes.
Troubleshoot complex issues related to optical networking components and resolve them efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

4-9 years of experience in Optical Engineering or a related field.
Strong understanding of DWDM technology and its applications in telecommunications industry.
Proficiency in performing capacity upgrades, migrations, decommissioning, retrofitting, calibration, and verification tasks on various types of optical network devices.
