Key Responsibilities (Role-wise)

1. Water System Operator

• Operate and monitor RO, EDI, WFI, Soft Water, and other purification systems.

• Check water quality parameters: conductivity, TOC, pH, temperature, flow, etc.

• Maintain daily logbooks, operation records, and GMP documentation.

• Perform routine sampling; coordinate with QC/Micro for water testing.

• Conduct preventive maintenance of pumps, membranes, filters, valves & pipelines.

• Execute CIP/SIP sanitization as per SOPs.

• Troubleshoot alarms, pressure variations, and flow deviations.

2. Electrician

• Install, repair, and maintain plant electrical systems and utilities.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues in water systems, HVAC, compressors, pumps, etc.

• Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams and panel layouts.

• Conduct preventive maintenance of motors, panels, drives, lighting, and control circuits.

• Follow electrical safety practices & permit-to-work systems.

• Maintain breakdown logs and electrical service records.

• Support commissioning of new equipment & engineering modifications.

3. Mechanical Fitter

• Perform mechanical maintenance of pumps, valves, agitators, compressors & process equipment.

• Carry out assembly/disassembly, alignment, lubrication, and part replacement.

• Identify and troubleshoot leakages, vibrations, and mechanical abnormalities.

• Support installation & commissioning of mechanical equipment and utility pipelines.

• Maintain maintenance logs, spare parts records, and checklists.

• Assist during shutdown maintenance and engineering projects.

4. ETP Operator

• Operate, monitor, and maintain Effluent Treatment Plant systems.

• Check and record water/effluent quality parameters as per norms.

• Perform chemical dosing, sludge handling, and filter operations.

• Maintain ETP logbooks, online records, and statutory compliance documentation.

• Coordinate with the environment/QA teams for sampling and audits.

• Ensure smooth operation of pumps, blowers, aeration, and filtration units.

• Follow safety and environmental guidelines strictly.

Common Requirements (All Positions)

• Minimum 2 -5 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing.

• Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Fitter, Water System, or relevant trade.

• Basic understanding of GMP, documentation, and plant safety systems.

• Ability to work independently and in rotational shifts.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
