As a Team Leader Operations in the Medical Coding department at our Airoli, Navi Mumbai office, your role involves the following responsibilities: - **Team Supervision** - Lead and manage a team of Home Health Medical Coders. - Provide mentorship, coaching, and continuous guidance to team members. - Conduct regular performance reviews and feedback discussions. - Address and resolve team queries, concerns, and operational challenges. - **Quality Assurance & Compliance** - Ensure accurate and timely coding of Home Health records, including assigning ICD-10-CM and OASIS codes. - Review coded data to identify errors, inconsistencies, or non-compliance. - Monitor adherence to coding guidelines, regulatory standards, and client-specific requirements. - Drive the team to meet or exceed quality benchmarks and client expectations. - **Workflow & Operations Management** - Oversee daily workflow, work allocation, and team scheduling. - Implement process improvements to enhance coding accuracy and turnaround time. - Prepare, analyze, and present performance reports and operational updates. - **Client & Stakeholder Communication** - Respond promptly to client emails and ensure all communication is addressed within timelines. - Support smooth coordination between internal teams, leadership, and client stakeholders.
