Operations Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation between Visa/Mastercard settlement files, switch data, and customer ledgers.
• Investigate and resolve mismatches such as partial settlements, late settlements, and duplicate transactions.
• Process and manage refunds, chargebacks, and reversals as per Visa/Mastercard dispute rules.
• Monitor and resolve customer issues related to failed transactions, ATM disputes, and balance mismatches.
• Prepare and submit settlement reports, income calculations (markup/interchange), and MIS dashboards.
• Coordinate with settlement banks, card networks, and switch partners for transaction verification.
• Track and maintain revenue from forex markups and interchange fees.
• Ensure compliance with Visa/Mastercard guidelines and RBI regulations.
• Handle exception reporting and escalate unresolved issues.
• Ensure SLA/TAT adherence for reconciliation and dispute cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 35 years of experience in card operations (preferably in

  Forex Card programs

  ) with hands-on reconciliation, settlement, and chargeback handling.
• Knowledge of CMS, reconciliation tools, and ticketing platforms (e.g., JIRA).
• Strong knowledge of RBI and card network guidelines for cross-border and forex transactions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; ability to work with large transaction datasets.
• Good understanding of GL entries, card transaction flows, and transaction lifecycles.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in

  FinTech, banking, or payment processing

• Exposure to

• Familiarity with Visa Online and Mastercard Connect portals for daily file management.
