Job Description

As an Operations Manager at our organization, your role will be crucial in driving strategic development and meeting business/operations needs and targets. You will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse and logistics functions, ensuring efficient inventory management, procurement, replenishment, and distribution. Your focus will be on maintaining optimal stock levels, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction through seamless logistics operations while integrating sustainability practices into the supply chain. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Operational Excellence:** - Develop and implement strategies to enhance warehouse operations, including inventory, purchasing, and distribution. - Monitor and improve warehouse processes to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry best practices. - **Purchase Management:** - Manage end-to-end procurement processes, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time delivery. - Strengthen supplier relationships, address quality and delivery issues, and ensure smooth import/export compliance. - Optimize procurement effectiveness and mitigate international trade risks. - **Logistics & Warehouse Management:** - Plan, organize, and oversee transportation, negotiate with carriers, and monitor logistics KPIs for optimization. - Supervise warehouse staff, manage inventory processes, and implement best practices for layout and operations. - Develop SOPs to ensure efficiency and regulatory compliance. - **Inventory Control:** - Conduct regular reviews to maintain accurate stock levels and implement tracking systems for efficiency. - Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to forecast demand and meet customer needs. - **Safety, Environment, and Compliance:** - Ensure a safe working environment, implement safety procedures, and maintain compliance with regulations (e.g., EMS 14001). - Stay updated on industry standards and laws to ensure operational compliance. - **Team Leadership and Development:** - Recruit, train, and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a high-performance culture. - Set goals, provide feedback, and promote continuous improvement within the team. **Desired Skills and Qualifications:** - Any Bachelor's degree, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience of 10/12 years in logistics, procurement, and warehouse management, preferably from an industrial background. - Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing. - Knowledge in Customs duty & customs clearance documents. - Knowledge in EPR, CBC, Advance license, DGFT. - Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members. - Proficiency in logistics software and systems, such as ERP systems, WMS, and TMS. - Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations EMS, QMS. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
