Job Title: Operations Manager Airline Industry (GDS Tools)

Location: Thane, Mumbai

Employment Type: Full-Time

Department: Airline Operations / Commercial / Reservations

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize airline operations with a strong emphasis on GDS tools such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless coordination between commercial, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day airline operations including reservations, ticketing, and scheduling.
Oversee the use and integration of GDS platforms (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, etc.) across departments.
Manage headcounts over 150+
Monitor KPIs related to flight operations, customer service, and booking efficiency.
Lead and train teams on GDS functionalities, updates, and troubleshooting.
Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and internal SOPs.
Handle escalations related to booking errors, system outages, or customer complaints.
Analyze operational data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Exp in staffing.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience in airline operations, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proficiency in GDS tools (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, Worldspan).
Strong understanding of airline reservation systems, fare construction, and ticketing processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage cross-functional teams.
