Role Overview: As Manager/Sr. Manager-Operations at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing various operational tasks efficiently in a time-sensitive environment. Your strong math skills, knowledge of domestic and international geography, and ability to work under pressure will be essential. You must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and handle confidential documents with discretion. Key Responsibilities: - Export Documentation: - Expertly handle export documentation, such as Packing Lists and Bill of Lading (BL) Drafts, for ocean shipments. - Ensure accurate preparation and timely submission of all required documents. - Stakeholder Communication & Procurement: - Proactively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including Custom House Agents (CHAs), Freight Forwarders, Vendors, and Customers. - Convey documentation and shipment details promptly and accurately. - Assist in selecting appropriate suppliers and monitor and improve supplier performance continuously. - Cross-Functional Support: - Collaborate with departments like New Seller Acquisition, Accounts, and Buyer Team to ensure seamless export dispatches. - Provide support for timely and efficient export operations. - Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular verification processes. - Customer Interaction: - Coordinate international shipments with customers and the sales team. - Monitor shipments in transit and keep customers informed about arrival times or any issues. - Update quotations database, coordinate with supplier relationship management team, and facilitate onboarding for international suppliers.
