Operations Head Electroplating & Integrated Manufacturing Plant

As an experienced Operations Head in Electroplating and Integrated Manufacturing Plant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production plant operations of a leading manufacturer with a focus on electroplating, machining, and high-quality component manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end plant operations such as production, planning, quality control, materials management, maintenance, HR, and industrial relations. You will be required to drive daily shop floor activities specifically related to electroplating and component production. Additionally, you will need to propose investment plans aligned with business growth and production requirements. One of your key tasks will be to recruit, train, and lead a diverse team to ensure operational excellence. You will also be responsible for translating customer and market needs into actionable product and process strategies. Implementing lean manufacturing practices, continuous improvement initiatives, and cost reduction strategies will be essential to enhance operational efficiency. Tracking and resolving production non-conformances and addressing customer complaints will be part of your duties. It is vital to ensure compliance with all statutory and industry standards, and establish quality systems like ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001. To excel in this role, you should possess 10-15 years of experience in plant/factory management, preferably in electroplating and precision manufacturing. Strong techno-commercial acumen and leadership capabilities are crucial. Mandatory expertise in electroplating processes, hands-on experience in managing HR, Admin, IR, and cross-functional teams, as well as proficiency in Quality Management Systems and problem-solving through a systems-driven approach are required.
