Operations Engineer

As an Operations Manager at our company, you will be a key member of the Operations department based in Mumbai. We are looking for a candidate with an MBA in Operations along with a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical engineering, coupled with 1-2 years of relevant experience. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong foundation in statistics and proficiency in Excel. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you delve into the intricacies of operation management processes. We value self-motivation and proactiveness, along with the ability to self-learn and showcase leadership qualities. Your responsibilities will include familiarizing yourself with line and staff functions, management viewpoints, and company policies. Setting performance goals in collaboration with upper management and monitoring progress will be essential tasks. You will be entrusted with maintaining and analyzing key performance data, interacting with department heads, and devising cost control strategies. A solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Lean Management, Project Management, and Six Sigma will be beneficial in this role. You will be expected to create new formats for MIS reports and dashboards, monitor data on a daily basis, and drive implementation through the plant team. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing costing and operational activities at the plant.
