Job Description

Job Title: Operation Site Supervisor – Forklift Rental Services Location: Customer Site Location Job Summary: The Operation Site Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations at the rental sites, ensuring efficient and smooth operation of forklift equipment provided on rental. The supervisor will manage operators, handle customer concerns, and ensure that preventative maintenance and operational tasks are completed to meet company standards. Key Responsibilities: Operator Recruitment and Management: Recruit forklift operators based on the customer application requirements and ensure timely onboarding and joining. Ensure the availability of qualified operators as per project needs. Training and Development: Provide training and development to operators, focusing on safe and efficient operation of forklift machines. Continuously improve operator performance by organizing skill-enhancement programs. Shift Planning and Assignment: Prepare detailed shift plans for operators and assign shifts accordingly. Monitor and manage the smooth handover between shifts to ensure operational continuity. Customer Complaint Handling: Act as the primary point of contact for customer concerns and complaints. Quickly resolve any operational or service issues raised by customers. Asset Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor the performance of forklift equipment to minimize breakdowns, aiming for zero breakdowns during rental operations. Oversee regular asset inspections to ensure all machines are in optimal condition. Preventive Maintenance (PM) Execution: Coordinate with service engineers to ensure monthly preventive maintenance (PM) is executed as per schedule. Ensure that any maintenance tasks are performed without disrupting rental services. Qualifications: Education: Any Graduate, Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, logistics, or related fields is preferred. Experience: 2-3 years of supervisory experience in operations, logistics, or forklift rental services. Prior experience in handling customer relations and managing on-site operators is a plus. Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle both team and customer interactions. Knowledge of equipment maintenance procedures and operational safety guidelines. Proficiency in shift planning and managing operational schedules. Additional Requirements: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Valid driver’s license and willingness to visit different customer sites when required.
