About the role:

We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Operations & Maintenance Engineer to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the end-to-end operations oversight at the plant, smooth functioning of all machinery, preventive maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Management:

   Oversee the day-to-day operations of the tile adhesives plant.Manage production schedules & optimize production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve productivity.

2. Maintenance and Equipment Management:

   Oversee daily mechanical operations of the plant machinery and utilities. Execute preventive maintenance & routine inspection. Troubleshoot mechanical failures, and ensure minimal downtime. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.

3. Inventory:

   Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs or procurement of spares. Identify areas of improvement and participate in cost-saving initiatives

4. Compliance and Reporting

   as per company protocols. Maintain technical documentation for equipment and maintenance history.

Qualifications:

• B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of

  3 - 6 years

  of experience in plant management/ operations, preferably in the tile adhesives, cement, or related manufacturing sectors.
• Working knowledge of CAD tools and maintenance software (SAP/CMMS is a plus)
• Sound knowledge of all plant machinery, maintenance, and production processes.
