Position: Technical Lead

Experience: 7 Yrs+ of Experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Directly supervises a technical team, to include task planning and code reviews.
• Coordinate all SDV activities closely with the Director of Software Development and other Technical Lead(s) in order to ensure high-quality and timely delivery of all software services.
• Mentor and coach direct reports in the development of their own job skills as related to the Business-side of Software Development & Validation.
• Attend and participate in client meetings to provide technical guidance and/or updates on projects
• Provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Continually drive innovation within our software development process to ensure our Analysts and Validation staff execute at the highest possible level.
• Strategize with the Director of Software Development and the Senior Software Architect regarding the technical direction and roadmap for the department.
• Keep informed of current industry best practices.
• Maintain healthy vendor relationships
• Manage issues with partner integrations and coordinate corrections with partners/internal
• Manage and communicate deliverables and timelines for a multi-site development team as applicable to assigned product(s).
• Work as a liaison between development teams.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, requirements, designs, test plans, etc. for assigned product(s).
• Drive technical projects and provide leadership in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
• Participate in the evaluation, selection, implementation and support of off-shelf tools to improve operational productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure that any new software integration into the organization systems follows defined design and meets functional requirements, system compliance, and other specifications.
• Review, analyze, and report on the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop testing strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
• Work diligently to enhance or improve business processes via software integration
• Maintain a working knowledge of complete inventory of organizational software and system assets relevant to assigned product(s)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education Requirement:
• Bachelors Degree in technical area, or equivalent work experience
• Field Experience:
• At least 7 years of experience in the software development/integration field
• Position Experience:
• At least 5 years of experience in a product analyst, software development, software integration, or similar, position
• Other Qualifications:
• Proven success with Requirements Management and Analysis for core system modules.
• Broad knowledge of technology fundamentals across all disciplines, e.g. software delivery, datacenter environment, network architecture, IT security, IT project management. - Preferred
• Experience working in an ITIL environment. Knowledge of industry standards for Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Release Management, Configuration Management. ITIL Foundations certification (v3 or v4) - Preferred
• Experience using IT Service Management workflow systems such as ServiceNow, Remedy, Service Manager, etc. - Preferred
• Background of IT delivery in multiple industries and locations. Experience working in both matrix and pyramid organizations. - Preferred
