About the Role

Windchill Senior Developer (L3 Application Support)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Windchill customizations and configurations.
  
• Provide

  L3 application support

  , including debugging and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, and Design teams to implement business requirements.
  
• Lead Windchill deployment, upgrade, and implementation projects.
  
• Develop and maintain

  RESTful APIs

  and integrations with enterprise systems.
• Create utilities for

  data migration

  , loading, and automation using Windchill APIs and OData.
• Support Windchill

  installation, rehosting, and advanced configuration tasks

  .
• Provide solutions across PLM modules such as

  BOM Management, Change Management, CAD Data Management, and ERP Integration

  .
• Participate in

  Agile/Scrum

  development processes and

  code reviews

  .

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Windchill 11.x or above

  , including architecture and deployment.
• Proficient in

  Java, JSP, JavaScript, JSON, XML, HTML

  .
• Expertise in

  Windchill Customization Methodologies

  : Services, JCA, Template Processors, Info*Engine, Client/Server, Class Extensions, REST APIs.
• Experience with

  Windchill Data Utilities

  , form validators, soft typing, loader mechanisms, ACLs, workflows, and lifecycle configurations.
• Strong understanding of

  Windchill Data Model, SQL, and Java

  .
• Familiarity with

  Windows and Linux OS environments

  for Windchill hosting.
• Knowledge of

  CAD management in Windchill 12.0

  is an added advantage.
• Experience in

  EBOM, MBOM, and SBOM

  transformation and implementation.
• Understanding of

  PLM system integration

  with CAD and ERP systems.
• Experience in

  SLM, MPMLink

  , and

  automated testing

  preferred.

Other Requirements

• Bachelors Degree

  in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum

  6 years of hands-on experience

  in Windchill customization and support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Experience in

  enterprise-level program and project management

  is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

• PTC Windchill Certification(s)
