Opening for Food & Beverage Service department

A steward's job involves ensuring cleanliness, organization, and smooth operations in dining/kitchen areas, handling dishes, restocking supplies, supporting kitchen/service staff, and assisting guests, requiring strong hygiene focus, teamwork, and customer service for a pleasant experience, whether in hotels, restaurants, or event venues. Key duties include washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, setting tables, managing inventory, and adhering to health/safety rules, with variations like event stewards focusing on spectator safety. Common Responsibilities:

• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Washing dishes/utensils, sanitizing surfaces, managing waste, maintaining clean dining/kitchen areas, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
• Support Operations: Stocking bars/stations, setting up/breaking down dining areas, assisting kitchen staff with prep, and managing inventory of supplies.
• Guest Service: Greeting guests, seating, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Safety: Following health & safety regulations, reporting hazards, and sometimes performing safety-related tasks like searching attendees (event stewards).
