Role & responsibilities Proficiency in computing skills (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint & basic knowledge on SAP ) Knowledge of engineering / design software will be added advantage Study of Drgs / models / Forging , machining , assy. process understanding , working of process cycle time , capacity calculations APQP, PPAP , PFMEA , ECNs , Change management , IATF , Internal / external Audits Relevant working Knowledge on materials , heat treatment , coating , welding , surface finishing . Cutting tools/ tool holding / Manufacturing parameters / job holding / Jig Fixtures - VMC / CNC / CONVENTIONAL /SPM machines Relevant Knowledge on part inspection / testing / Layout / gauges conceptualisation and execution of part development Attend NPD meetings Internal & customer regarding feasibilty , NPD parts followup from sample to mass production hand over Interaction with vendors and capability to negotiate / understand / parts outsourcing development & resolve the issue Knowledge on machines / processes / tooling / Part layout To train the people , develop team /subordinates , Upgrade to new technologies / methodology Work Review / MIS / DWM / Meet time lines Preferred candidate profile From automotive part manufacturing industry (Forging & Machining) experience in Design / Engineering deptt/ NPD Apply if relevant only, send resume to monikasingh@modernautomotives.com
