Job Description

Patient Care Assessment:

Conduct patient assessments to determine their needs, and deliver direct nursing care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and providing wound care.

Health Education:

Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, management, and health maintenance practices.

Assisting Physicians:

Prepare equipment and assist doctors during examinations and minor procedures.

Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting treatments, procedures, and incidents.

Clinic Operations:

Ensure the smooth functioning of the OPD by preparing equipment, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and adhering to infection control protocols.

Coordination:

Act as a liaison between patients, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient flow and care.

Emergency Response:

Respond to medical emergencies in the OPD, providing first aid, initiating emergency protocols, and ensuring patient stabilization and appropriate referral.

Quality Improvement:

Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.
