Job Title: OPD Staff Nurse

Department: Outpatient Department (OPD)
Reporting To: Nursing In-Charge / Nursing Superintendent
Location: Shivajinager , Pune

Salary Range: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience & qualifications)

Job Summary:

The OPD Staff Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients visiting the Outpatient Department. The nurse will assist doctors during consultations, perform nursing procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety while maintaining hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during patient consultations and minor procedures.
• Prepare OPD for daily operations (equipment, supplies, and cleanliness).
• Record patients’ medical history, vital signs, and other clinical data accurately.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
• Manage patient flow efficiently to reduce waiting time.
• Educate patients on prescribed treatment plans and post-procedure care.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold hospital policies.
• Handle emergency situations promptly and report to the concerned authority.
• Maintain accurate documentation and OPD registers.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: ANM Nursing
• Registration: Must be a Registered Nurse (State Nursing Council).
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in an OPD or clinical setting.

Skills Required:

• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic OPD procedures and infection control practices.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Team player with a professional attitude.
