Role & responsibilities

Cloud Computing

• Monitor and manage the cloud infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.
• Collaborate with IT and operational teams to integrate cloud-based solutions into existing business processes.
• Evaluate cloud service providers and manage contracts to ensure favorable terms and service levels.
• Conduct regular assessments of cloud architecture and recommend improvements to enhance security and efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends within the luxury goods sector.

VMWare

• Manage and maintain the VMware infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance of virtualized environments.
• Deploy and configure new virtual machines in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Monitor system performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues related to VMware environments.
• Ensure security and compliance of the virtualized infrastructure in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate VMware solutions within existing IT frameworks.

Networking

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support business operations.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal connectivity.
• Implement and manage security protocols to protect against unauthorized access and data breaches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess networking requirements and provide solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT networking or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security models.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting network devices and systems.
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
