About the Role We are looking for an experienced Sr. Odoo/ERPnext Developer to serve as the Founding Tech Lead for our IT division. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will not only lead the team but also write code daily and build our technical infrastructure from scratch. You will define the architecture, set up the servers, and establish the development standards that will shape the future of our technology. Key Responsibilities Tech Structure Setup (From Scratch): Design and establish the entire technical environment, including server setup (AWS/DigitalOcean/Linux), database architecture, and repository structuring. Hands-on Development: Write clean, efficient, and scalable code for critical modules. You will be the primary contributor to the codebase while guiding the team. System Architecture: Build robust, scalable, and secure ERP architectures from the ground up, ensuring seamless integration between Odoo/ERPNext and third-party applications. DevOps & Deployment: Set up CI/CD pipelines, manage staging vs. production environments, and implement automated testing protocols to ensure stability. Technical Leadership: Lead all IT service delivery, conduct rigorous code reviews, and enforce coding standards to ensure a bug-free, high-performance system. Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for the initial setup, APIs, and custom modules to ensure future scalability and knowledge transfer. Candidate Profile Education: B.Tech (CS/IT), MCA, or equivalent technical degree.

Technical Skills: Mandatory: Expert proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and JavaScript. Core Requirement: Deep mastery of Odoo or ERPNext (framework, ORM, QWeb). Infrastructure: Strong experience in Server Management (Nginx, Gunicorn), Docker, and Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure). Version Control: Advanced knowledge of Git/GitHub flows and branching strategies. Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in ERP development. Proven track record of setting up technical teams or infrastructure from scratch. Interests: Passionate about building systems from zero to one, open-source technologies, and code optimization.
