As a Junior Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily production processes, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining quality standards, managing manpower, and ensuring production targets are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support daily production activities as per the production schedule.
Manage manpower allocation and monitor discipline on the shop floor.
Monitor production quality and coordinate with the Quality Control team for any deviations.
Ensure hygiene, proper packaging, and accurate labeling of finished goods.
Track production output and report daily production data to the Production Manager.
Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and reduce wastage.
Ensure machinery is in proper working condition and escalate maintenance needs promptly.
Enforce safety protocols and PPE usage on the shop floor.
Maintain daily production logs, stock registers, and shift handover notes.
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and quality teams for seamless operations.
Assist in training new workers on operational procedures and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Key Skills Required:

Experience in FMCG/food manufacturing operations.
Strong leadership and team-handling skills.
Good communication and reporting abilities.
Attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure.
Basic knowledge of computer applications (Excel, reporting tools).
Familiarity with FSSAI and HACCP standards (preferred).

Working Conditions:

Factory/shop-floor environment involving long hours of standing and walking.
Shift-based role with extended work hours.
Hands-on involvement with semi-skilled/unskilled workforce.
