Odoo Functional Consultant

Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

Requirement Analysis and Gathering:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Understand existing workflows and identify areas where Odoo ERP can streamline operations.

Configuration and Implementation:

• Configure Odoo ERP modules such as Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, Accounting, HR, and CRM to meet client requirements.
• Optimize module configurations for seamless integration across different business processes.
• Work closely with the technical eam to oversee module customizations and ensure alignment with business goals.
  

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Test configurations to ensure alignment with functional specifications and business needs.
• Identify and resolve issues or discrepancies during the configuration and testing phases.

User Training and Support:

• Provide hands-on training to end-users on configured Odoo modules, focusing on usability and workflows.
• Offer ongoing support to troubleshoot configuration-related issues and enhance user adoption.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed documentation for module configurations, workflows, and user guidelines.
• Maintain records of configuration changes and create reports on system performance.

Qualifications and Skills:

Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience configuring and implementing Odoo ERP modules.
• Expertise configuring Manufacturing, Inventory, Procurement, CRM and Accounting modules is essential.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong understanding of ERP configuration best practices, particularly in Odoo ERP.
• Familiarity with Odoo features such as bill of materials (BOM), work orders, routing, inventory tracking, and procurement workflows.
• Analytical mindset to translate business requirements into optimal system configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to address configuration-related challenges.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database structures is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Odoo Enterprise Edition.
• Familiarity with Odoo Studio for advanced configurations and customisations.
• Knowledge of third-party integrations and APIs for extending Odoo functionalities.
