Playwright Automation Tester

Job Title:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using

  Playwright

  .
• Perform

  browser automation, web scraping, and API testing

  using Playwright.
• Work with

  JavaScript/TypeScript

  to write automated tests.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines

  using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.
• Ensure version control using

  Git

  or similar systems.
• Follow automation best practices, including

  test design, reporting, debugging, and maintenance

  .
• Collaborate with developers and QA team in

  Agile/Scrum environments

  .
• Conduct

  API testing

  using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and provide detailed defect reports.
  

Skills Required:

• Proven experience with

  Playwright

  for test automation.
• Strong knowledge of

  JavaScript or TypeScript

  .
• Experience with

  CI/CD tools

  (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Proficiency in

  version control systems

  (Git).
• Knowledge of

  web technologies

  (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and interacting with web elements.
• Familiarity with

  API testing tools

  (Postman, REST Assured) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of

  automation frameworks

  and best practices.
• Strong

  debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
