Odoo Developer (2+ Years Experience)

About the role

Looking for an experienced Odoo Developer with strong expertise in customizing existing Odoo modules and handling version migrations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and functional teams to implement, enhance, and maintain Odoo-based solutions across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Customize and enhance existing Odoo modules such as HR, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Manufacturing, and Accounting as per business requirements.
• Develop new features, views, reports, and workflows using Python, XML, and Odoo framework.
• Perform Odoo version migrations (e.g., v15v16/17/19), including data migration, module adaptation, and regression fixing.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and services (REST/XML-RPC APIs, payment gateways, external systems).
• Analyze requirements with business/functional teams and translate them into technical specifications.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize existing Odoo implementations for performance, security, and usability.
• Maintain technical documentation, follow coding standards, and use Git or similar version control.

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience as an Odoo Developer.
• Strong experience in customization of Odoo core modules: HR, CRM, Sales, Purchase, Manufacturing, Accounting (and related modules).
• Proven experience with Odoo version migration projects (community and/or enterprise).
• Solid programming skills in Python and good knowledge of PostgreSQL, XML, and JavaScript (OWL).
• Experience with QWeb reports, view customization, server actions, and automated jobs.
• Good understanding of ERP/enterprise business processes (HR, sales, procurement, inventory, finance).
• Experience working on Linux-based environments and using Git for version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging skills, and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
