Odoo Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules for both backend and frontend.
• Implement business workflows, automation scripts, and custom features using Python and Odoo ORM.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using JavaScript, XML, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems and external APIs (REST, JSON, XML-RPC).
• Perform database management and optimization on PostgreSQL for performance tuning.
• Customize and enhance the Odoo web client using OWL framework and QWeb templates.
• Handle Odoo version upgrades, migration scripts, and patch management.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain Odoo environments on Odoo.sh, Docker, or on-premises servers.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance optimization of Odoo instances.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Functional Consultants to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Provide technical documentation, user training, and post-deployment support.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong command of Python, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
• Expertise in Odoo Framework, ORM, and MVC architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL database design and optimization.
• Hands-on experience in front-end customization using OWL and QWeb.
• Proficiency with Git, Linux environments, and CI/CD practices.
