We take a holistic approach to therapy, empowering children to thrive through structured programs in occupational therapy and behavioral interventions ,description:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team, working with children diagnosed with Autism and developmental delays The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in sensory integration, fine motor development and adaptive strategies to enhance childrens daily functioning , responsibilitiesConduct comprehensive assessments of each childs sensory, motor and adaptive skill needs Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans tailored to each childs unique goals Provide one-on-one occupational therapy sessions that address sensory and adaptive strategies to enhance childrens daily functioning Utilize sensory integration techniques, motor skill exercises and adaptive strategies to enhance childrens daily functioning Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech and behavior therapists to provide well-rounded care Document childs progress, adapting therapy plans as needed to meet the childs objectives Educate and guide parents, offering training and resources to support their childrens development at home Maintain a safe, engaging, and supportive environment focused on professional growth Stay current with the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy and autism community ] , qualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy Valid certification and license to practice occupational therapy Minimum of 2 years experience working with children with Autism, developmental delays, or similar needs Strong knowledge of sensory integration techniques, motor skill exercises and adaptive strategies to enhance childrens daily functioning Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children achieve their best potential ],offersA collaborative and supportive work environment focused on professional growth Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications Access to specialized training and resources in occupational therapy for Autism and developmental delays Opportunities to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and their families
