The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic intervention to children with sensory issues, fine motor delays, handwriting difficulties, behavioral challenges, and functional skill deficits. The OT will work closely with parents and the multidisciplinary team to build individualized therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities:1. Assessment & Evaluation

  • Conduct sensory profile assessments, fine motor evaluations, and developmental screenings.
  • Identify sensory processing issues, motor delays, and functional challenges.
  • Prepare detailed assessment reports.

2. Intervention Planning

  • Develop individualized therapy plans based on each child’s needs.
  • Set measurable and achievable therapy goals.
  • Modify activities as per the child's progress.

3. Therapy Sessions

  • Provide one-on-one occupational therapy sessions.
  • Work on sensory integration, handwriting, fine motor skills, ADL (Activities of Daily Living), attention, and behavior regulation.
  • Use evidence-based techniques and structured approaches.

4. Parent Guidance & Collaboration

  • Regularly update parents about child progress.
  • Provide home program activities and strategies.
  • Collaborate with speech therapists, psychologists, and special educators for holistic development.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain attendance, session notes, and progress charts.
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports as required.

6. Professional Conduct

  • Maintain a safe and child-friendly therapy environment.
  • Follow ethical standards and confidentiality policies.
  • Participate in internal meetings, training, and case discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
  • Preferably RCI registered.
  • Experience in pediatric therapy is an advantage.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of sensory integration and child development.
  • Excellent communication and observation skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and child-friendly behavior.
  • Ability to handle behavioral challenges during sessions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
