Key Responsibilities & Duties

Clinical & Case Management

• Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and annual health assessments, including physical exams and screenings (e.g., hearing, vision, vital signs). Velents
  
• Provide first aid and emergency care for work-related injuries and illnesses. AAMCN
  
• Manage and follow up on occupational injuries and illnesses, including documentation and case tracking. Velents
  
• Evaluate employees fitness for duty and recommend appropriate job accommodations. Indeed
  

Prevention & Health Promotion

• Identify workplace health hazards and participate in risk assessments. Velents
  
• Develop and implement health promotion and injury prevention programs. AAMCN
  
• Provide counseling and health education on topics such as ergonomics, chronic disease prevention, immunization, stress management, and lifestyle changes. Indeed
  

Compliance & Recordkeeping

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records in compliance with privacy regulations. Velents
  
• Support regulatory compliance related to workplace health standards (e.g., OSHA, local occupational health regulations). Velents
  
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of workplace incidents and illnesses. Velents
  

Collaboration & Training

• Work closely with HR, supervisors, and safety personnel to address health and safety concerns and to support return-to-work initiatives. Velents
  
• Conduct and facilitate health and safety training sessions for employees and supervisors (e.g., first aid, emergency response). Velents
  
• Collaborate with external healthcare providers and specialists when necessary. Velents
  

Experience

• Minimum of 2–5 years of nursing experience, with preference for occupational health or workplace health exposure. Velents
  
• Experience with health surveillance and hazard identification is an advantage. Velents
