Nursing Superintendent @Ujala Cygnus, Jammu

Key Responsibilities:-

• Lead and coordinate the nursing team across departments to ensure delivery of high-quality, compassionate patient care.

• Possess a thorough understanding of the organizations mission, vision, and goals.

• Implement, and monitor nursing protocols, policies, and procedures in alignment with NABH, Nursing Excellence & JCI standards.

• Ensure optimal staffing and duty rosters based on patient acuity and nurse-patient ratio norms.

• Foster a culture of safety, continuous learning, and accountability among nursing staff.

• Supervise Induction training & CNE trainings to enhance nursing competencies and performance.

• Monitor and analyze nursing key performance indicators including patient satisfaction, clinical outcomes, and audits.

• Oversee infection control practices and ensure adherence to Infection prevention & control protocols.

• Ensure seamless interdepartmental functioning by collaborating with clinical, administrative, and corporate nursing teams, fostering a culture of operational efficiency and excellence.

• Conduct regular internal audits and clinical rounds, and advocate for a proactive approach to incident reporting.

• Ensure effective management of inventory store & stock of both pharmacy & consumables.

• Take & coordinate initiatives for accreditation readiness and compliance with statutory and hospital regulations.

• Conduct and mentor nurse shift in-charges for leadership growth, performance appraisals & address grievances.

• Ensure appropriate documentation, handovers, and maintenance of Nursing records.

• Ensure timely identification, escalation, and effective management of all hospital emergency codes.

• Take initiatives related to patient safety, CAUTI/CRBSI/VAP/SSI reduction, medication safety, and nursing

• Participate proactively in all committee meetings & timely resolution of patient complains.

• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of unit KPIs, incidents, and nursing data to corporate nursing team.

• And any other jobs assigned by the superiors as per the exigencies of work.
