Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Nursing Superintendent at Motherhood, located in Bengaluru. The Nursing Superintendent will oversee the nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include managing and directing nursing staff, maintaining compliance with healthcare standards, developing policies, conducting training sessions, and coordinating with other medical professionals to enhance patient outcomes. The role also involves monitoring departmental performance and implementing best practices for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership, organizational, and team management skills within nursing and healthcare environments
• Expertise in patient care delivery, clinical procedures, and healthcare compliance
• Proficiency in training, mentoring, and managing nursing staff efficiently
• Effective communication and decision-making skills essential for collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Registered Nurse (RN) with a nursing degree (B.Sc or equivalent); Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is preferred
• Minimum of 8-10 years of nursing experience, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory or leadership role
• Knowledge of healthcare protocols, accreditation processes, and quality standards
• Additional certifications in healthcare management or nursing specialties would be an advantage
