The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with medical protocols, hospital policies, and ethical standards. The role involves assisting doctors, ensuring patient comfort, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care & Support
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition.
• Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families.
• Ensure patient hygiene, comfort, and safety at all times.
• Medication & Treatment
• Administer prescribed medicines and injections accurately and on time.
• Maintain records of medications given and report adverse reactions.
• Operate medical equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain patient files, case sheets, and nursing notes.
• Record daily observations and report significant changes to doctors.
• Ensure compliance with hospital documentation standards.
• Coordination & Communication
• Coordinate with doctors, other nursing staff, and support staff.
• Provide clear handover reports during shift changes.
• Communicate effectively with patients and attendants.
• Compliance & Safety
• Follow hospital policies, infection control measures, and safety protocols.
• Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Assist in emergency situations and follow proper escalation procedures.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (as per role requirement).
• Registration: Must be registered with the State Nursing Council.
• Experience: 2 to 5 Years Experience.
• Skills:
• Strong clinical and patient care skills.
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping.

Work Conditions

• Shifts: Rotational (morning, evening, night).
• Environment: Hospital/clinical setup.
• Additional Duties: May be assigned as per hospital requirements.
