ole Overview The Nursing Staff is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with medical protocols, hospital policies, and ethical standards. The role involves assisting doctors, ensuring patient comfort, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Support Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition. Assist doctors during examinations, treatments, and procedures. Provide physical and emotional support to patients and their families. Ensure patient hygiene, comfort, and safety at all times. Medication & Treatment Administer prescribed medicines and injections accurately and on time. Maintain records of medications given and report adverse reactions. Operate medical equipment and ensure proper usage and maintenance. Documentation & Reporting Maintain patient files, case sheets, and nursing notes. Record daily observations and report significant changes to doctors. Ensure compliance with hospital documentation standards. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with doctors, other nursing staff, and support staff. Provide clear handover reports during shift changes. Communicate effectively with patients and attendants. Compliance & Safety Follow hospital policies, infection control measures, and safety protocols. Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Assist in emergency situations and follow proper escalation procedures. Qualifications & Skills Required Education: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing (as per role requirement). Registration: Must be registered with the State Nursing Council. Experience: 2 to 5 Years Experience. Skills: Strong clinical and patient care skills. Ability to handle emergencies calmly. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Basic computer knowledge for record-keeping. Work Conditions Shifts: Rotational (morning, evening, night). Environment: Hospital/clinical setup. Additional Duties: May be assigned as per hospital requirements. Key Attributes Compassionate and patient-oriented. Punctual, disciplined, and responsible. Ability to work under pressure.
